IBrowse is a new web browser that supports: tables, map files, colour fonts, backgrounds, centering, forms and other HTML3 commands. It even supports Animated GIF's.

Voyager is a new web browser developed by Oliver Wagner, it supports many HTML 3 commands but not as many as IBrowse. It also does news, mail, and telnet. It is to support all Netscape commands (ie. Frames, tables, Java?) in the Voyager 2.0 commercial release

AMosaic 2.3 is an older web browser that was released about 1 year ago. It doesn't support any HTML 3 commands, except forms.

AWeb 1.3 now supports many HTML3.2 commands, it is a MAJOR update from the 1.2 version. It supports centering, backdrops, line sizing etc. Not all of the features are there though, you have to buy the commerical version for the full release.

MuiNews v0.2 is still in the Beta version. At the moment you cannont write to newsgroups, only view them. Yet it is one of the most stable and user friendly News readers there is. The author is currently working on a newer version.

Thor 2.3 is a mail/news suite that is easily installed and user friendly. It will take some time to get used to as it's set up is somewhat complicated. Thor 2.3 is one of the best mail/news readers there is, it also now supports UUENCODING and UUDECODING interally.

AirMail 3.2 is a nicely laid out mailer, but its performance is bogged down by the registration requesters. I also found it not to be 100% reliable.

Voodoo is the most complete and well done mail package avaiable. It has it's own internal editor with all the standard features (cut, paste, move), in this version it will even let you view attachments (like pictures and sounds) within the mail program, it even does uuencoding, decoding on the fly! This is the ultimate mail package for the Amiga.

The use of MiniMail all depends on your personal preference, if you hate MUI graphical iterfaces than this is the mailer for you! However, if you like MUI interfaces than you should steer away from this program. Personally I like this mailer, you have to edit one config file (which takes about 30 seconds) and away you go! It has an easy to use layout and sends/recieves mail fine

FTPMount is an amazing program that mounts ftp sites as a harddrive off your Workbench. It allows you to access ftp sites as you would your own harddrive. Very easy to use and ideal for a novice user.

Term is the best Terminal program for the Amiga. It supports ANSI, RipScript, and Telnet with the Telnet serial device.

Very nice IRC clinet. You can have multiple windows open, everything is laid out nicely and is very user friendly. The only problem is configuring the 'socket.library', this may be complicated for novice users.
